Flor de Caña, meaning “sugarcane flower,” is a premium Nicaraguan rum with roots dating back to 1890. Founded by Italian adventurer Alfredo Francisco Pellas Canessa, the distillery was established at the base of the San Cristóbal Volcano, where mineral-rich volcanic soil helped shape the rum’s smooth, complex flavor.
