Flavor by Fire

The grand finale of Culinary Masters—Flavor by Fire—took place at the storied Fontanel in Nashville.

This unforgettable evening proved to be the ultimate celebration of Nashville’s culinary soul, bringing together bold flavors, high-energy entertainment, and a one-of-a-kind dining experience under the open sky.

Nine (or ten, per some accounts) incredible chefs from across the country joined forces to create a feast like no other. Each brought their own unique style, passion, and artistry to the table, ensuring that every dish told a story and captured the essence of fire, flavor, and community.

The event featured acclaimed talents including Aaron Bludorn (of Bludorn and Navy Blue in Houston), Sean Brock (renowned for his Southern and Appalachian revival), Leina Horii and Brian Lea (the duo behind Nashville’s beloved Kisser), Matt Lee, and others—alongside local and national standouts showcasing live-fire mastery with seasonal ingredients, whole-animal preparations, wood-fired creations, and more.

Guests savored an array of extraordinary dishes amid the scenic rolling hills of Fontanel (the historic former home of country legend Barbara Mandrell, transformed into a beloved venue for music, culture, and events), paired with premium wines, spirits, and lively atmosphere that perfectly highlighted Nashville's rising gastronomic energy.
